• About MCIC

  Meito Christ International Church is an inter-denominational congregation in a traditional yet contemporary framework. We have been meeting for over fifteen years and seek to provide a weekly opportunity for reflection and renewal.

  While we come from many church backgrounds, we use the Revised Common Lectionary to guide us in our weekly worship.

  Our Weekly Worship takes place at 5:00pm every Sunday. Morning communion service is the first Sunday of each month at 9:00am and there is a quarterly evensong service (once a season) at 7:30pm. We have Sunday school from 4:00 - 4:45pm (September - June) and every Sunday we invite folks to stay behind for a time fellowship and snacks.

Sharing Scripture

On Sunday, June 14th we were pleased to have at our English language Christian worship two representatives from the Gideons International – Nagoya-Higashi Camp. The Gideons are a worldwide organization that provides scripture to people; not only do they place Bibles in hotel rooms, but the Gideons distribute free Bibles at schools and other public facilties.

We welcomed Mr. Tom Nakata and Mr Katsutoshi Shimizu as they joined with us in English worship. At the end of worship they gave a short presentation on the work of the Nagoya-Higashi Camp. We are thanful to God that we were able to contribute 15,800 yen to work of the Gideons.
