Application Process for Pastoral Leader at MCIC
Application Process for Prospective Candidates to Serve as Pastoral Leader at
Meito Christ International Church (MCIC)
If interested in the position, please review the documents “Who is MCIC?” and the “Pastoral Leader Expectations” found at www.meitochurch.org.
After reviewing those documents, prospective candidates for the Pastoral Leader position at MCIC are asked to submit:
l An essay of 250 – 300 words answering the question “In your opinion, what is the measure of a good pastoral leader of an international, inter-denominational congregation?”
l A current resume;
l The names, addresses, email and telephone numbers for three (3) references;
l In addition to a letter from a Pastor, Bishop, District Superintendent, or other Christian leader, lay or ordained, verifying the prospective candidate’s Christian standing.
Deadline for all the material to be submitted is 12:00 (Noon — Japan Time) March 1, 2010.
Documents can be either sent electronically (preferably in pdf format) to fredborstad@fuji.email.ne.jp, faxed to 081-052-771-5267 or by sent by mail. Mailed resumes will be accepted if postmarked by March 1, 2010. All documents must be received by the deadline in order for the prospective candidate to be considered.
MCIC is open to prospective candidates from anywhere in the world, and MCIC does not discriminate based on gender or race. Prospective candidates must be 25 years of age by deadline, March 1, 2010, and be native or near-native English speakers.
